White House denies secret amnesty plan

Today on Fox News, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs denied that the Administration is prepared to move forward with immigration reform without Congressional action. Gibbs stated that he has not seen the memo that was circulated yesterday and the Administration does not support amnesty. According to Gibbs, the White House will work with Democrats and Republicans in Congress on immigration reform and is not seeking ways to go around Congress.

Sharron Angle gains ground on Harry Reid

According to a poll commissioned by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Sharron Angle has all but eliminated Harry Reid’s lead since her campaign went on the air to counter the attacks coming from the Reid campaign. Two weeks ago Mason-Dixon had Reid beating Angle by 7 points. Today, they are locked in a dead heat with Reid leading 43 to 42. However, the attacks seem to have worked as Angle is now seen almost as unfavorably as Harry Reid.

According to National Review, there is an internal U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services memo circulating around Capital Hill that indicates the Obama Administration may be looking for ways to enact immigration reforms without going through Congress.

Rasmussen moves Nevada Senate from Toss-Up to Leans Democrat

According to Rasmussen, Harry Reid maintains a narrow lead over Sharron Angle with 45 percent support to Angle’s 43 percent. Reid continues to remain extremely unpopular in Nevada, but has managed to drag Angle down with a successful negative campaign portraying Angle as extreme.
