Looks like the Obama Administration clearing themselves of any wrongdoing didn’t quite settle the problem with Sestak’s allegation. Unfortunately for the White House, it seems that Congressman Sestak wasn’t even eligible for the position he was reportedly offered by President Clinton because he is a current federal employee.

You will notice a significant change in language as Sestak now admits that it was President Clinton who made the offer, not someone in the White House as he previously claimed. Also, Sestak admits that it was an unpaid advisory board position and not a “job” as the Congressman previously claimed.

Representative Darrell Issa isn’t satisfied with the White House’s response to Joe Sestak’s allegation and vowed to continue to press for answers. Issa speculated there may have been some witness tampering based on the inconsistencies between the White House’s statement and the claims Sestak has been making for months. No wonder President Clinton is ducking questions on the issue.
