The Institute For Policy Innovation released these facts in time for the Tax Day Tea Party Protests:
President Barack Obama and the U.S. Congress have gone on a spending and debt spree that the country cannot afford. As a result, a spontaneous grassroots movement is emerging from every corner of the nation with a message for Congress and the president: Stop spending us into an inevitable spiral of debt and higher taxes … now!
To that end, groups of Americans will be meeting in towns and cities across the nation on April …

Wasn’t it just yesterday we gave them another 14 billion dollars? Perhaps this information should have been suggested yesterday.
General Motors’s new chief executive told CNBC that filing for Bankruptcy may be the best option for the struggling automaker.
In a taped interview to be aired tonight on NBC Nightly News, Fritz Henderson said that because of greater demands from the Obama administration to restructure, GM is considering the bankruptcy option. The auto giant previously had ruled out such a move, saying it would discourage people from …

Unbelievable. President Obama’s second attempt at a HHS Secretary has tax problems too. Although, not as much as the first Governor Sebelius’ tax problems seem suspicious. For example, she had to return tax deductions for money paid to charitable organizations because she couldn’t find a letter from the organization. Why not just ask for another? Oh well, I guess this is just another “oversight.”Another, in a long line of embarrassing oversights in the continual nomination disaster of the Obama Administration.
In the letter, which was sent to …

From the left, no less. It seems President Obama’s nominee for the Treasury’s number two spot helped draft some of the Clinton Era deregulation of banks they falsely blame as the cause to this current economic crisis. They point to the Gramm Act, among others, to divert attention from themselves and their actions. Interestingly, as none other than President Clinton points out it had nothing to do with it. In fact, the institutions it affected weathered the crisis better than other institutions.
So will Senate Democrats support the nominee, or backhandedly …

Who would have thought that Obama would be tapping left wing radicals to stock the United States Court system?
True to his campaign promises, President Barack Hussein Obama has picked a rabid judicial activist as his first federal court pick. Judge David Hamilton has been chosen by Obama to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
Hamilton is precisely what Obama wants in a judge: Someone who ignores the Constitution and imposes his own liberal ideas on each case. Hamilton …

Democratic strategists are already planning on spotlighting Governor Palin the same way they targeted Rush Limbaugh during the stimulus debate. Even though Carville was shown to be a hypocritical hack attacking Limbaugh he still thinks the targeting Palin would be a good idea. Hopefully it has the same result and increases her popularity as well.
Multiple Democratic strategists say the party plans to increasingly elevate Palin in the same manner it has employed Rush for weeks, using her high-visibility, her social conservatism, and memories of her harsh attacks on Obama during …

This was really uncomfortable. Did they even listen to themselves the past 8 years? The part where Dean is criticizing Bush’s record deficits was great. It’s not that they were not terrible, but the thought that they have any credibility on the spending front is just hilarious. After all, Obama has added more debt than all past Presidents combinded.

Phenomenal. This guy is just the breath of fresh air and common sense the world needs right now.
“It’s common sense that when you are in debt you spend less. Anyone but a politician can see that.”

Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel made at least $320,000 from Freddie Mac for the 14 month period he worked with the failed mortgage giant.
Before its portfolio of bad loans helped trigger the current housing crisis, mortgage giant Freddie Mac was the focus of a major accounting scandal that led to a management shake-up, huge fines and scalding condemnation of passive directors by a top federal regulator.
One of those allegedly asleep-at-the-switch board members was Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel—now chief of staff to President Barack Obama—who made at least $320,000 for a …
