It’s about time that someone brought some common sense to the debate going on over the debt crisis. This is 15 minutes that every American should listen to.
If he had, we wouldn’t be $14 trillion dollars in debt and mortgaging this Country’s future. Over two hundred years later and we are still fighting over something that should be common sense.
We are in the very best of hands… Only in Washington could you be involved in negotiations and know nothing about what you are advocating for.

Even if you forget the fact that businesses pass their costs on to consumers and that could further wreck this economy, how much would raising taxes on these two groups do to close the deficit?

Do we need any more proof that no one read President Obama’s stimulus plan? Today President Obama blasted Republicans for wanting to preserve private jet tax breaks at the expense of food safety inspections and funding college scholarships. If that wasn’t outrageous enough, it looks like tax breaks for private jets were built into the President’s stimulus plan that failed to keep unemployment under 8 percent. Private jet tax breaks, passed by a Democrat Congress and signed into law by President Obama himself.

My two favorites given were because of the PATRIOT Act (which President Obama extended) and NAFTA (which was passed by a Democrat Congress and signed into law by a Democrat President). I’m wondering why nobody said “I’m a Democrat because I don’t believe the President doesn’t have to follow the War Powers Act,” or “I am a Democrat because I believe in investing $830 billion in a ‘stimulus’ to keep unemployment below 8 percent.” Good times.

Apparently if you are a liberal, Sarah Palin touring various American historical sites is equivalent to a married Congressman sending a picture of his bulging underwear to a stranger in Seattle. Sarah Palin literally lives in these people’s minds. They drag her into every story and then whine that Palin gets so much media coverage.
